The main task was to conceptualize and manage all the intra-bank and external groups involved in the transformation as well as the coordination of gateways between those sectors (e.g. Fileservice HP with encryption Commerzbank). A special challenge presented itself in the technical integration of Dresdner Bank which was bought by the Commerzbank in 2009. Main components of the technical solution included Active Directory, Citrix, Group Policies, NetApp Filer, HP Eva Storage, DNS, DHCP, IPAM with Infoblox Appliances. More than 100,000 workplaces with PC were affected while the continuous access to data and apps had to be ensured.
