Templeton and Partners Ltd is an global IT recruitment consultancy focussing on Digital transformation with offices in London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Zurich. Currently we are looking for a SCCM & SCOM - Technical Expert to join one of our international clients for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension located nearby to Paris, France.
Some of your key activities will include:

• Design, Build and Maintain SCCM and SCOM Infrastructure

• End-to-End Management of all SCCM and SCOM Components, Lifecycle management, Application Upgrade, Process Implementation and Adherence

• SCOM Health Monitoring, Installation and Configuration of Management Packs for Active Directory components, Streamline Monitoring Alerts and Automate the resolution

About the ideal candidate:

• Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:

• Good understanding of Windows server infrastructure family

• Knowledge on Hyper-V would be an added Advantage

• Software Deployment - Create/Troubleshoot Applications/SW Packages, Create Query based Devices and users collections

• Patch Management - Create/Test/Deploy/Manage SUGs on Servers/Workstations, Publish regular Patch Compliance Dashboard and Work on failure cases

• Third Party Application Upgrade - Manage Application upgrade through SCUP

• OS Deployment - Capture/Maintain Master OS Image as per defined schedule/System Driver Integration and Troubleshooting of OS Deployment issues

• SCCM Agent Health Compliance - Track/Publish SCCM Agent deployment compliance in SCCM Console using/Work with local IT Administrator on Failure cases/Manage/Track SCCM Agent Upgrade

• SCCM Reports - Publish reports for Site Administrator/create S/W deployment compliance reports

• Agent deployment using following methods

  • AD System Discovery in SCCM

  • Client Push installation to install client on discovered systems

  • Script based installation - Use PowerShell OR Batch Script for remote installation of clients

• Co-ordination with Local IT Administrator for Agent deployment and Issue rectification

• Good Knowledge of PowerShell or Batch Scripting Automation

• Ensure that operations and equipment are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and rules

• Be responsible for monitoring, follow-up, solving and escalation of the internal technical incidents according to the existing procedures

• Manage Windows updates and solve incompatibilities

Other required Experience and Skills:

• Good Verbal and written Communication and Presentation Skills

• Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer level.

• Sufficient technical depth to communicate with business and other internal IS Groups at a peer level.

• Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of global team of engineers.

• Ability and confidence in making system recommendations and providing excellent customer support.

• Ability to create clear and concise documentation.
