For our key client, in the banking sector, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer (AWS Cloud)Your tasks:
- Review and detail AWS Cloud Solution Design to Software Design
- Coordinate an agile team of DevOps & DataOps engineers
- Contribute to the selection of AWS technological components
- Elaborate DevOps & Data Ops User stories for sprint planning
- Implement analytical Architecture in Cloud, including:
o Automated Data Pipe from S3 buckets to NonSQL DBs and other analytical Applications
o Divide Components into deployable MicroServices
o Establish Code versioning
o Implement steps for continuous automated deployment
o Connect all MicroServices to security
o Configure User roles and technical Users
- Implement solutions based on AWS Cloud stack .
- Ensures efficient environment management in development-, test- and production environments
- Providing an efficient delivery pipeline, covering build-, deployment- and test-automation as well as provisioning of infrastructure components in cloud infrastructures
- Supports colleagues and users in deploying and configuring their services (container+apis) on the platform
- Drive integration between services and components
- Work as part of an agile delivery team (Kanban)
Your qualification:
- Profound experience in building up AWS DevOps, certification as AWS DevOps engineer is a must.
- Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)
- Active experience with cloud concepts and -providers, virtualization and Containerization (mainly AWS)
- Very strong knowledge of NonSQL / SQL open-source databases available in AWS
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Python)
- Knowledge of Unix Operating Systems, preferably Linux based
- Experience in agile development (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of contemporary collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira).
- Very good command of English (mandatory). German is a plus
