Our client is looking for "Functional Test Analyst"
JOB DESCRIPTION
Review and understand core business requirements across project streams
Liaise with project stakeholders to understand critical paths and create robust end to end regression tests to de-risk project deliveries.
Create Test Artefacts: Test plan and Test Cases/Scripts for testing effort.
Define test data requirements in timely manner to ensure test readiness
Execute test Scripts and document results at Test Script/Case level
Re-Testing after the development team has fixed a defect
Record all defects found
Maintain payments regression test suite
Report testing progress to Release Test Manager
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Ability to capture and translate business requirements to test cases
Minimum 5 years' experience of manual testing within Systems and Integration testing within financial services.
Experience with testing banking systems (Platon, T24, CRM, CMS, ENAIO, TIETO, Ecommerce, Adams [Osiris], Siron)
Experience with testing accounts products, deposit products, customer packages, card management, CRM
Experience with Reconciliations testing
Experience with ETL and Business Objects validation
Liaise with payments team to understand planned changes and schedules to payments programme
SKILLS:
Effective problem solving skills and the ability to analyse and evaluate information and apply criteria to make judgements.
Excellent ICT skills and an ability to use these for analytical purposes.
Good interpersonal skills including an ability to work collaboratively and effectively within the team, across departments and schools.
Good communications skills, both verbal and written and an ability to translate complex developments into accessible language.
Ability to take ownership for supporting and delivering improvements in performance test practices and processes
Strong performance management skills to contribute positively to corporate and departmental performance monitoring requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively across divisional/departmental/partnership projects and teams.
