Role: Software Engineer (Robotics)
Location: Luxembourg
Duration: 12-month contract, option to extend monthly or offered permanent position
ConSol Partners' client is on search for a Software/Robotics Engineer he will be in charge of designing, programming, and deploying the multi-platform base software of their client's robotic production line. He/she will work closely with the other engineers of the Automation & Robotics division to implement and test robot software solutions following multiple requirements.
The candidate should have demonstrated experience with early stage product development, robotic application software development and communication interfaces, sensors integration, safety mechanisms, logging and reporting infrastructures.
Responsibilities
Create specifications and requirements of robotics applications based on design inputs
Program, test and deploy these applications for different projects with a variety of needs.
Work closely with engineers of varying disciplines to perform hardware/software integration & testing on the robotic production line
Debug and test all software to meet project requirements.
Create and maintain appropriate documentation.
Actively support internal tests and commissioning cycles.
Requirements
Experience implementing robotics application software solutions, preferably in Material Handling segment but not exclusively
Experience developing PC software driven robot applications using object-oriented programming languages (C#, C++ or JAVA preferably) with proven skills in this area
