we are looking for our client for a Major Site Roll out Manger in the area of Basel:

Detailed Description:
It is the role of the Major Site Roll out Manager to Work alongside the Client Site Roll out Manager to bring clarity to the specific roll out on this major site to ensure that the client activities are clear and unambiguous. The success of the project on the major site is critical to the image of the programm across Customer company and could also be seen as the template for all other roll outs.

- Major Site Roll out Manager needs to be able to cope with a highly complex Customer context and nevertheless carve out scope that allows our client to succeed and slo coach Customer roll out stream lead to assure successful roll out. Hence the person taking this role needs to be comfortable in a complex client environment, dealing directly with the client stakeholders.
- Specific experience of this type of roll out at this scale (ca. 10.000 Units) and complexity plus ability to bring together disparate groups form the Client and potentially other third parties into a high performing team is essential

Tasks:
- Major Site Rollout Manager responsible for Windows 7 and Office 2010 roll out and migration with scope of 10.000 in one specific site in Switzerland
- ca 30-40% of PC's are to be replaced, the remainder re imaged
- Single Point of Contact to Customer for all client related roll out matters for the site. Coach for the client project manager in assuring success of the project
- Pro-active approach together with Customer project manager that identifies, agrees and manages key activities, and identifies gaps both within Customer and/or client to drive a successful roll out
- actively coordinate internal Customer contributors as well as involved client's personnel
- Builds and maintains a strong, highly motivated roll out project team
- Reports on the roll out project progress to the client program manager and project sponsor
- Maintains effective communication with and between all functional areas of the Project team, as well as with the client management

Skills:
- Domain knowledge in same size and reach of Customer project - ideally should have worked in the industry
- Strong ability to operate as a business peer with client stakeholders
- Politically aware
- Understands complex global customer organizations
- IT project management and IT technical implementation skills
- Consultancy skills are a must
- Skilled in complex technical project management initiatives
- Able to deal with ambiguity and to take actions to develop clarity without creating unnecessary concerns within the team or the client
- Strong project management skills with excellent track record in large project deployments
- Able to lead an manage
- Engenders strong personal loyalty
- Good command of German and English, project language is English

3-4 Days / week onsite at Customer Basel and 1-2 Days / week remote
