Java Backend Developer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Development of a cloud-based quality management tool for tracking quality issues of the company product
- Backend extension and optimization of an IoT platform
- Development and integration of server applications with Java and Scala
- Development and integration of APIs and REST web services
- Work in an agile environment
- Direct reporting to the project leader
Main qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge regarding software development and related processes (Agile)
- Working knowledge of software development and testing standards and techniques (Unit Tests, TDD)
- Significant experience in software development of server applications with Java (Spring boot, Tomcat)
- Strong experience in Developing APIs and REST web services
- Experience with Micro Servicesarchitectures (Kubernetes, Docker), data structures, information retrieval, HTTP and TCP/IP
- Relational databases, SQL, Oracle preferred
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments, distributed systems, performance analysis
- Affinity to design high quality and maintainable software
