Type: Contract (12 months - with scope to extend)
Rate: €60-€65 an hour
Montash have been engaged with an international E-commerce company based in Vienna, who are seeking a Javascript Developer with experience working on web applications using node.js. They have identified a need for freelancers to help on exciting development projects working in an agile environment amongst a vibrant team.
The main task is the development of new applications and the further development of existing applications. This includes participation in the full software cycle including specification, analysis and design.
This is a chance to work on a large-scale project with room to further your career and skills; where communication with the Project Managers on ideas, possible problems and suggestions for improvements is welcomed.
Due to the location of this project, please only apply if you are eligible to work in Austria in a freelance capacity.
Required:
- Ideally at least 5 years' Javascript experience in software development of large scale sites (less years will be considered)
- At least 3 years Node.js experience
- SOAP, REST
- Agile/Scrum
- Pro-active person with good communication skills
- Fluent German (at least C1 level) - this is a must!
Desirable:
- Angular
- SQL knowledge
- Experience building tests and using continuous integration support tools; git, Jenkins...
