TätigkeitenbeschreibungFor our client in Vienna, we are currently looking for a Technical Lead Enterprise DWH (m/f) for the following project:
Location: Vienna
Start: End January, latest middle February
End: End 2018++
Technical Lead Enterprise DWH (m/f)
Your tasks:
Leads a distributed, multi-cultural technical software implementation
team of approx. 25 people (Software Architects, Engineers and Testers)
Evaluates people performance
Estimates the development and testing efforts and plans the software
releases
Assesses alternative technical solutions and supports in decision making
Drives efficiency improvements throughout the whole SDLC
Ensures that the knowledge is shared and documented
Being part of an international Agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery team
Your qualification:
Adequate technical education (Technical School or University degree)
Strong people and project management skills
More than 5 years of experience in designing large/complex software
architecture and applications, especially in the area of Data Warehouses
Good experience with data integration patterns and tools (e.g. ETL/ELT),
ODI is an asset
Strong knowledge of the SDLC, especially managing multiple releases
Very good data modelling and SQL know how and knowledge of
different database technologies (e.g. RDBMS), Teradata is a plus
Knowledge of Metadata-Driven Data Warehouses is an advantage
Experience with CD / DevOps methodology and good overview of
related tools (or tool chains)
Very good experience in requirements engineering
Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
Banking know how is an asset
Soft Skills:
Pro-active attitude, team-oriented and excellent analytical and problem
solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in a multi-cultural
environment
Very good command of English (mandatory). German is a plus
