For the L3 Role, Relevant Experiences Requirement would be around 8 - 14 years
Roles and Responsibilities:
This role requires a solid understanding of HP-UX Servers and related components such as Hardware and Software dependencies. You will be involved in the activities mentioned below (but not limited to them):
- Supporting Operational Activities such as L2 / L3 System Support, RCA, Systems Validation, Performance Tuning, and Capacity Management
- Troubleshooting Databases, Applications, and Services on HP-UX Servers
- Mentoring and Guiding the Infra Teams, Documenting SOPs and Runbooks
- Working with Global Clients and Business Users to document requirements and system setups
- Understanding and Documenting existing System-setups and their inter-dependencies
- Actively Participating in Incident Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management
- Helping other teams such as Tools and Monitoring from Monitoring and Alerting perspectives
- Coordinating Activities between Team Members and Vendors
- Proactively Actioning Tasks and Reported Issues, and Providing Timely Feedback and Update
- Demonstrating Qualities of a Team Player and Taking Ownerships of individual tasks
Technical Skills:
HP-UX Architect and System Administration
- Operating System-Level Virtualization
- Hardware Partitions
- Isolated OS Virtual Partitions on Cell-Based Servers
- HP Integrity Virtual Machines (HPVM)
- HPVM Guests Systems
- MC / ServiceGuard or HP ServiceGuard
- HPE Superdome Flex Server
- Designing, Building, and Implementing Infrastructure Systems
- Upgrading and Migrating Systems between Environments
- Patching Systems, and Fixing Bugs and Security Vulnerabilities
- Resolving Issues Related to Networking and Connectivity between Applications and Servers
- Scripting, and Integrating Network Users and Resources
Good to have: Experiences in Linux Distributions such as RedHat
