System Validation Engineer (NFC/Smartcards)

Initial 12 month contract + extensions
Your Responsibilities:
As System Validation Engineer within our business line Connectivity & Security you are responsible for:
- System verification/validation of NFC and SmartCard systems
- Specification and implementation of a system test concept
- define requirements for the necessary test hardware
- definition of a testplan according system requirements
- Implementation and verification of system test cases
- Optimization of test software/test cases w.r.t. automation, execution time, robustness, debugging and logging possibilities
- System Test execution and first level debugging
- Documentation (test case implementation, test results, Problem reports)
- Maintenance of system test setups
Your Profile:
- have a Master degree in Informatics, Telematics or Electrical Engineering - or you have similar hands-on experience
- have +3 years experience in system validation
- have an accurate and well structured way of working
- show strong analytic skills
- can read and understand electronic circuitry schematics
- have good skills in Phyton or other script languages
- have good skills in programming C/C++ and Microcontroller
- have knowledge of standard interface like SPI, I2C, UART
- are experienced in automating lab tests
- can use laboratory equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, .
- have a very good level of written and spoken English
- are a team player, working in an international team with passion and show a continuous willingness to learn
Additional information/requirements
- NFC IC System Validation/Smartcard IC Validation experience is important
- Task is about test development and test execution
