CLOUD NETWORK SECURITY ARCHITECT:Remote - Ideal freelancer would be someone who lives in Austria or has commutable distance as client is based in Austria, however willing to consider remote.
A Network Security guru who will create the concepts for our client and support the coordination of
departments once it is done.
Expertise:
Excellent knowledge of the network and security environment, cloud tech and software development methodologies
(agile, DevSecOps, CI, CD,...), cloud migration projects and on-prem install.
Great communicator, natural problem solver.
English or German language skills required.
Cloud agnostic, Azure would be preference.
The Role:
• Creation of a network and network security concept, including the integration of Internet access points, firewalls and load balancers.
• access points, firewalls and load balancers, which corresponds to the state of the art in an on-premises cloud environment
• Infrastructure as a code and DevSecOps are fully supported.
• Existing interfaces to their legacy applications must be supported
• SaaS solutions in the public cloud are part of the concept
• Support in the coordination of the finished concept with their internal departments (Network, Security)

Rate: - Subject to experience and whether you can occasionally travel to site

Hours: Flexible minimum 20 hours per week.
