We are looking for a “Service Engineer (m / f/ d)" for our customer in the IT sector with the following basic conditions:Start: asap
Duration: 3 months +
Location: Dortmund
Managed Services runs a high-performance infrastructure in the cloud that reliably manages the entrusted applications and solutions.
In a heterogeneous technical environment, you supervise and optimize the services in operation and ensure the satisfaction of our customers within the framework of the agreed service level agreement (SLA). You are the technical contact for the customer and our Service Delivery Managers.
Tasks:
• delivery Manager on all technical operational issues and work closely with the development department
• process the technical inquiries of our business customers
• administer and optimize our customers' systems, create operational documentation and manage our service support desk
• ensure the monitoring of the services and set up monitoring and KPI monitoring of the IT services under management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer systems integration or a comparable qualification
• very good experience in system administration of Linux systems
• Basic knowledge in the system administration of Windows server systems
• Web and application server know-how (httpd, Tomcat, Wildfly, etc.)
• Knowledge in the areas Bash, Perl and Java (configuration)
• Good network knowledge (TCP / IP) and result- and quality-oriented work
• A high level of customer and service orientation
• A high readiness for learning and further training
• A good team and communication skills
• Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory
• Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas are of benefit: Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud technologies (AWS, Alibaba, Azure, etc.) o DevOps
