Mainframe Application Maintenance Consultant (Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS, MQ Series)
For one of our globally leading tech clients we urgently need a Mainframe Developer with Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS, MQ Series expertise for a long contract in Austria.
Essentially you will have the following skills:
- Good knowledge of IBM Mainframe (Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS, MQ Series)
- 7+ years professional experience in the application maintenance, support activities and development area in Mainframe technologies
- 5+ years of experience in PL1 Programming
- 7+ years of experience in Cobol Programming
- 5+ years of experience in Assembler Programming
- 5+ years of experience in CICS transaction maintenance (Online business transactions and Administrative transactions)
- 5+ years of experience in Cool Gen Programming
- 7+ years professional experience in the job development (JCL, SAS JCL and related utilities)
- At least 4+ years of experience in MQ Series concepts
- 6+ years of experience in DB2, Strong RDBMS concepts and SQL
- Clear understanding of Scheduler concepts (OPC, CRON)
- Experience of working with popular tools (for ex. Spufi, QMF, OPC, TWS etc.)
- Should have strong knowledge in Trade finance area (SWIFT standards and MT messages)
Nice to have:
- Experience in Software design process
- Experience of Application development and maintenance projects (Waterfall, Agile etc)
- Proficiency in Application Maintenance methodologies (ITIL)
- Experience of working with a few service management tools (HPSM, FixIT, Remedy etc)
- Data masking activities
Contract: 6months +
Rates: Negotiable
