Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 9months + (extensions likely)
Start Date: April 2017
Location: Vienna, Austria
Rate: 60€ per hour
A leading financial organization is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic and international team in Vienna, Austria in order to contribute to innovation projects.
Responsibilities:
- You will provide product functionality and infrastructure solutions.
- You will automate provisioning of, deployment to and management of test and production environments of their analytical financial services solution.
- You will design and implement Shell Scripts (bash) for Solaris and Linux for deployment and test automation.
- You will consolidate existing environments to new standards.
- You will write technical documentation.
- You will work closely work together with product development teams and operators.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in similar projects.
- Excellent knowledge in Shell Scripting.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux RedHat EE and Solaris.
- Experience in implementing test automation and automatic deployment.
- Knowledge in at least one programming language - Java is preferred.
- Knowledge of software design methods and techniques.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge in Oracle administration, SQL and PL/SQL.
- Good overview of open source tools/tool chain in the area of continuous delivery and test automation.
- Experience in the financial industry.
