Java Developer - Remote (1-2 days p/months onsite) - 6-12mths contract
My client are looking to recruit a Java Engineer on a predominantly remote basis (Ideally with a 1-2 day site visit each month to either Graz or Hamburg office).
The role itself can be described as follows:
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of secure web services for key and data distribution
- Design and implementation of unit and integration tests for automated test execution in CI/CD pipelines, including quality aspects
- Contributing to architectural and security concepts to ensure end-to-end protection of sensitive key material and data
Profile
- Experience in software engineering, seasoned Java developer, 3+ years (MUST HAVE)
- Interested in implementing and testing reliable, high-secure, high-throughput services
- Experienced in unit tests and test automation (MUST HAVE)
- Familiar with Java Spring Boot (MUST HAVE)
- Familiar with containerization including orchestration (Kubernetes and Docker) (NICE TO HAVE)
- Familiar with security and cryptography (nice to have)
- Familiar with Maven Build System and Jenkins Build Automation (NICE TO HAVE)
- Structured approach towards complex software challenges (MUST HAVE)
