For our client, a renowned company in the financial industry, we are currently looking for a:CONTRACT: Test Automation Engineer (m/w) - Job Ref. No. 13416
Your tasks in this interesting role:
- In this very interesting position as Test Automation Engineer you will work in various exciting projects in the area payment transactions and cash management in the financial industry.
- Your main activity is focused on planning, assessments, scripting development and scripting maintenance.
- You will define test plans, review test cases, run test executions and create test reporting.
- Furthermore you will create and execute manual tests and do the analysis in order to increase the automation level.
- You will also work closely with other teams to analyse upcoming problems.
Your skills:
- University degree in computer sciences or a federal education with corresponding further education.
- Relevant experience in test automation and manual testing in the financial sector and good understanding of payment transactions and cash management.
- Experience in load and performance testing (JMeter) and database testing.
- Good Knowledge of Maven, Jenkins CI, JUnit/TestNG and experience in BDD framework, Gherkin format, Cucumber framework and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience in Web Services test automation and SOAP/XML.
- Your are an excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English is required.
