Digital Biomarker Mobile Solution Technical Project ManagerBackground:
Roche's Pharma Research and Early Development Informatics team is the bridge between digital technology and science. We help drive medical innovation and are integral to the realization of truly Personalized Healthcare and the development of innovative treatments for our patients.
Digital tools, such as smartphones or wearables, can now continually measure and collect vital health information - or "Digital Biomarkers" - from patients. Digital Biomarkers are changing how future medicines will be developed and could lead to more personalized use of new medications that will transform the lives of patients. Advances in wearable devices, such as phones, watches, textiles or delivery devices, which track a patient's vital signs and monitor for symptoms, all have the potential to vastly accelerate clinical development.
Within Digital Biomarkers at Roche, we're seeking future-thinking innovators - digital technology and science specialists who can apply their expertise to transform some of the most challenging health conditions today.
Role:
* Work with Digital Biomarker Software Product Managers to translate concepts for mobile solutions into detailed requirements for software development
* Develop project and sprint plans for development of mobile solutions
* Drive the software development of Digital Biomarker mobile solutions in close collaboration with Digital Biomarker Technology Leads, Solution Architects, Study Managers, Test and Deployment Managers
* Support the rollout of Digital Biomarker mobile solutions in clinical trials by working closely together with Study Teams, Roche affiliates and external research partners. This involves communicating and explaining all aspects of technology, security and data privacy
* Manage data integration projects with research partners for clinical trials. This involves facilitation of the interaction between technical teams at research partners, Roche technical teams and vendors
* Continuously prepare and deliver presentations on project status and plans.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude, who possesses a strong background in a scientific or technological discipline and has very strong collaborative interpersonal and communication skills. Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience managing mobile solution software development projects (Android, iOS) and maintenance of the resulting ecosystems, including requirements development
* Strong hands-on experience with remote patient monitoring solutions or similar data collection solutions (very large amounts of time series data)
* Experience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV)
* Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations
* Real passion for digital innovation in healthcare, and especially for using novel technologies to modernize clinical endpoints and improve disease/treatment management
* Extensive experience working in a dynamic project-based environment, e.g. in IT consulting
* Focused quality mindset and high attention to detail.
* Business fluency in written and spoken English language
