Our client Tier1 IT system integrator are looking for Java BigData Developer to support their client project based in Vienna, Austria
Job Description:
- Should understand various databases like Oracle, Hadoop and their various flavors (like Cloudera, MapR, Hortonworks, Microsoft Azure etc.)
- Should understand systems development and integration around the above databases, specifically related to performance monitoring, auditing, tracking etc.
- Should be able to develop software applications for the above purpose in programming languages like SQL, JAVA, Scala, Python, and R etc.
- Should have the system integration experience in such settings
- Current infrastructure: Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, Azure, but the candidate will likely design some new infrastructure
- Ecosystem: SAS, Python
- Education and experience: at least a computer science degree (ideally Masters or PhD) + 5 years of experience
- German language skills would be nice to have
