Datawarehouse Developer | 12 Months | Vienna | SQL, ETL, ODI, Teradata
Square One are actively looking for an experienced Datawarehouse developer for an initial 12 month contract working with one of our major clients based out of Vienna.
Your tasks
Your commitment to develop our Enterprise Data Warehouse Solution in an international environment
Being part of an international Agile/Scrum delivery team
Translating business mappings into detailed technical mappings
Using ODI technologies for Data Warehouse development
Metadata driven development with Continuous Integration
Unit testing of the developed software components
Contributing to design and implementation of data models
Writing technical documentation
Your qualification
Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)
4-5 years professional experience in Data Warehouse development
Good experience with Data Warehouse patterns
Excellent SQL know how, very good Datamodelling and database know how (Teradata is a plus)
Very good ODI programming skills
Used to collaborate via Jira, Confluence and modern chatting tools
Good know how of Continuous Integration- and source code management-tools (Gradle, SVN, GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube)
Very good analytical skills (analyse specifications and translate requirements to task specifications)
Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
Banking know how is an asset
