For one of our interesting clients we are currently looking for a Software Engineer - Digital Audio. It's a longterm fulltime freelance project, that starts asap. Alternatively you can also work as an employee. You should have passion for software development of audio systems. The company offers you the possibility to grow along with the startup. You have to work onsite in Vienna.Your tasks:
-Port and optimize advanced audio processing algorithms in a variety of platforms and architectures (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
-Development of GUI-based host applications interfacing with heterogeneous audio devices
Experience:
- Education (Bachelor or Master degree) in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the industry or as academic post-graduate.
- Excellent software design/programming skills in C/C++ and Objective-C.
- Solid knowledge of multi-threaded programming and debugging.
- Be able to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly.
- Good understanding of real-time digital audio.
- Experience with WebRTC, Audio Units, VST, Core Audio APIs
- nice to have: knowledge on music theory
The hourly rate is up for negotiation.
The annual gross salary is regulated by collective agreement. However, a significant overpayment is possible with the corresponding qualification.
