Wir suchen für den Zeitraum von mindestens 6 Monaten Unterstützung im Bereich Business Intelligence/DWH auf Basis SQL Server. Sprache wäre Deutsch und Englisch. Start wäre asap. Eine Anwesenheit vor Ort wäre größtenteils notwendig. Bei Interesse schicken sie bitte einen CV sowie ihre all in Preisvorstellungen.Die Hauptaufgaben wären wie folgt:
• Creation and understanding of technical specification and technical design documents based on business requirement specifications.
• Creation of interface specification.
• Designing of Data Models and ETL templates.
• Designing and implementation of ETL – processes.
• Development of DB stored procedures.
• Development of migration- and release scripts.
• Deployment of physical data model and ETL packages in SSIS.
• Testing of the implementation within BI components like ETL, DB Procedures, etc.
• Second level support.
• Support of Business department with data analysis and within BI service requests.
• Resolving of BI incidents and on-demand requirements.
• Monitoring of ETL – processes and decide in case of failure.
This challenging position demands deep general technical know-how and specific BI-knowledge in the area of MS SQL Server. Therefore the following qualifications are needed:
• Completed education in information science (computer science, business computer science) with a business understanding.
• Several years of experience in the developing and running of complex BI environments.
• Several years of experience in building ETL procedures, creating data models (relational and dimensional) designing OLAP cubes, doing analysis and creating reports.
• Several years of experience in a wide area of BI tools like MS SQL Server, MS Integration Services, SSAS, Business Objects BI Suite and Oracle DBMS.
• Broad understanding of IT and BI.
• Holistic thinking, analytical skills (quick comprehension, abstract thinking, recognize relationships).
• Excellent knowledge of English and German in spoken and written
• Willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills, team player.
• Personal responsibility and flexibility.
