Our client is a market leading global telecommunications vendor who is searching for a WDM Expert.
- Work on WDM project, as technical director to support project manager, control the project costs, schedule and quality
- Understand the SOW of contract and customer requirements, output and/or be involved in output WDM project delivery plan and technical solution; control and monitor project implementation
- Decode and output WDM engineering technical design scheme to guide subcontractor design
- Responsibility for WDM project acceptance
- In charge of management and communication to related customer and subcontractor
- Enhancement of customer satisfaction and promotion of market consolidation and development
- Review WDM engineering and design documents, output material and service BoQ to support issuance of the PR/PO
- Cooperation with project team and relevant department experts
- Have distinguishing communication skills, working effectively with both technicians and management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
- Familiar with optical network, knowledgeable and experienced with WDM product
- Good external and internal communication coordination, and excellent in pinpointing deviations and solving problems
- Application of optical network engineering design norms, standards and specifications, relevant products and elements knowledge as well as various planning and design tools
- Experience in telecommunication project delivery, knowledge of project procedures and quality managements methods
- German as native/fluent speaker preferred and English on business level
