My client has a requirement for an experienced Cisco Video Engineer to join their project.


    • The EMEA video engineer role is responsible for technical expertise in designing, delivering and supporting the European arm of global Telepresence video platform/services.
    • The EMEA video engineer role is responsible for all aspects of videoconferencing, including the research, planning, implementation, and providing support of the Telepresence video infrastructure and endpoints.

Key Responsibilities

    • Engage with business stakeholders to provide solution guidance to meet business needs in support of business, regional and functional consumption of video conferencing and collaboration service
    • Engage with IT groups (business relationship managers, technical teams, etc.) to ensure video conferencing and collaboration service delivery alignment with business, regional and functional groups in Europe in alignment with the global solution
    • Provide management of all aspects of video conferencing and collaboration for the European footprint
    • Executes all phases of project delivery including build, configuration, test, implementation, and operationalizing
    • Generates and builds network configurations and detailed test plans for video conferencing and collaboration networks/solutions
    • Responsible for administration and SME proficiency of WebEx, preferably with voice integration
    • Provide customer support with call setup, end-user training, and troubleshooting, particularly trouble incidents that may occur during calls
    • Assist client with supporting (hands on if necessary) special events, Senior Executive meetings, and town halls requiring videoconferencing
    • Engage 3rd-party service providers/professional service organizations to coordinate operational service delivery/project execution
    • Create and maintain all usage statistics and reporting data.
    • Regularly review platform system infrastructure capacities/provide engineering guidance to coordinate preventive maintenance activities, and maximize system availability/uptime.
    • Develop processes/procedures to support-improve video conferencing and platform/service delivery model.


  • 3-5 or more years of hands-on experience with Video Conferencing and Collaboration systems software, associated infrastructure and application development framework
  • 3-5 yearsof experience with server and operating systems.
  • Strong experience in documenting technical environments and writing standard operating procedures
  • Experience successfully interfacing with all levels of resources/management, including business and IT facing roles.
  • Experience with video technology/transport
  • Expert level technical knowledge of all the Cisco video product portfolio, including endpoints and infrastructure
  • Expert level knowledge of both on-premises and cloud video services.
  • Experience troubleshooting Video Conferencing and Collaboration systems
  • Solid experience with LAN/WAN technologies (ex. MPLS, PPP, Frame Relay, Ethernet, TCP/IP)
  • Knowledgeable about network infrastructure running QoS, SIP, H.323, H.264, and video conferencing protocols
  • Solid knowledge of Cisco UCS server
  • General knowledge of information security, including network security, infrastructure security, application security, compliance frameworks, and other regulatory requirements such as SOX and HIPAA
  • Preferred certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Voice

  • Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)

  • CCNP or equivalent
