Proteus Europe is searching for a DataWarehouse engineer ( DWH ) for one of our financial institution clients based in Austria.
Our Client:-
You will be working within an important banking institution that provides wide range of banking services to private and corporate clients across the EU zone. The Group also provides services for instance in the fields of leasing, asset management as well as mergers and acquisitions. A well respected bank in its sector.
Your New role:-
This position will be dealing with all aspects of the DataWarehouse ( DWH ) application operation which is based on Windows/SQL Server.
Day to day role and responsibilities:
- operation and control of applications (operation and managing/controlling of applications)
- processing of customer requirements (processing customer inquiries and requirements)
- Coordination with SW development (coordination with software development teams)
- incident and problem processing (processing of incidents and problems)
- Maintenance of flow control systems (Control-M) (maintenance of the job control system = Control-M)
- Participate in project and product meetings (participation in project meetings and product)
- Maintenance of technical documentation (maintenance of technical documentation)
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
1. DWH/Data Warehouse
2. MS SQL,
3. Control-M
4. Windows
5. Some knowledge of German (adequate command of German language)
Desirable Skills:-
- Good English Language skills
- Excellent team and customer service attitude
- Sequence control for automation and operation of high-availability applications in the banking sector (knowledge of job control system for automation and operational of high availability applications in the banking environment)
- Willingness to do some holiday and weekend cover as and when.
