Profile Description:
Experience in implementing graphics virtualization (vGPU) projects using Nvidia technologies on HP ProLiant Servers, and optionally Citrix and VMware products. Ideally experience in virtualization Siemens CAD applications such as SolidEdge or NX.
Tasks:
Analyse current infrastructure and environment
Review application and user workflow requirements
Accompany end-user tests and evaluate user-experience
Optimize the environment configuration for vGPU (eg HW Setup, Windows VM, Nvidia profile, CAD Application, Vmware Hypervisor)
Analyse rollout and implementation impact
Recommendations for solution Design
Deliverables:
Analysis of current customer infrastructure and vGPU environment setup (SolidEdge application on HP ws460c blade server with Nvidia K2 card, leveraging VMware vSphere and Citrix XenDeskop) as well as user workflows
Configuration of an optimized environment for vGPU usage of SolidEdge to ensure performance of solution for the CAD end-users
Provide recommendations for solution design and review of document deliverable
Skills needed:
- HP ProLiant Server (eg ws460c)
- Windows client and server OS (ie Windows 8 and Server 2012 R2)
- Server, storage and network infrastructure
- Nvidia technology (eg K2)
- VMware vSphere (6.x)
- Citrix XenDesktop (7.x)
- Siemens SolidEdge (ST8)
