About our customer:

Our customer is an international member of thebanking industry.

For their branch in vienna we are looking foran experienced Java Software Engineer (MIFID II) - (m/f) with commitment to develop professional application software for the finance industry in an international environment

Your tasks:

• Writing well designed, documented and testable Java code

• Unit testing of the developed software components

• Assist the Software Architect in designing the software solution

• Work in close cooperation with the Software Architect, Test Engineer and Business Analyst

• Write technical documentation

Your skills:

• Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)

• 4−5 years professional experience in SW development

• Excellent Java programming skills (Java 8) (Gradle, Apache Velocity as a plus)

• SQL- and database know-how (preferable Oracle)

• Working knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns

• Agile mind-set (Scrum)

• Experience in finance & banking area is a plus

Soft Skills:

• Pro-active attitude and team orientation

• Excellent communication skills

• Very good command of English (mandatory)

• German is a plus
