Job Title: Java Software Engineer (MiFID II)
Type: Contract, 5days/week
Duration: 6 months (possible extensions)

Responsibilities:
Your commitment to develop professional application software for the finance industry
in an international environment
Writing well designed, documented and testable Java code
Unit testing of the developed software components
Assist the Software Architect in designing the software solution
Work in close cooperation with the Software Architect, Test Engineer and Business
Analyst
Write technical documentation
Job qualifications
Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)
4 5 years professional experience in SW development
Excellent Java programming skills (Java 8) (Gradle, Apache Velocity as a plus)
SQL- and database know-how (preferable Oracle)
Working knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
Agile mind-set (Scrum)
Experience in Finance & Banking area is a plus
Desirable:
German is a plus
