For our banking client in Luxembourg, we are looking for an experienced Data Governance Analyst to support data documentation, metadata management, and enterprise data governance activities.
Main facts:
- Role: Data Governance Analyst
- Location: Luxembourg (On-site)
- Start: 01 January 2027
- Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
- Language: English and German (mandatory)
Responsibilities:
- Gather business and data requirements from stakeholders
- Create and maintain data dictionaries following bank standards
- Document business definitions, data models, and data flows
- Identify and document authoritative data sources
- Collaborate with Data Management teams to validate and upload metadata to the Enterprise Data Catalogue
- Support data governance and metadata management initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Governance Consultant
- Hands-on experience with metadata management and data documentation
- Strong understanding of data governance principles
- Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Knowledge of data cataloguing tools such as Collibra or Informatica
- Experience with data modelling tools such as Sparx EA or Hackolade
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable
