Senior LabVIEW Engineer – Industrial Automation
Start Date: Mid-November
Seniority: Senior / Expert level (at least in LabVIEW)
Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
Work Mode: Hybrid – the client is based in Vimercate (Monza e Brianza). After an initial onboarding period, the role requires 1 day per week on-site.
Working Commitment: Ideally, the client is looking for 3 days per week, but they would also consider a full-time commitment.
Italian: Native or full professional proficiency
English: Good working knowledge is sufficient
Client: A leading company in the semiconductor and microelectronics industry
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join the Technology team and will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for industrial automation machinery.
- Performing requirements analysis and working closely with the development team and key stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into clear and accurate technical specifications for automation systems.
- Contributing to the design and development of software solutions using C# and LabVIEW.
- Supporting the integration and implementation of automation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of software design patterns.
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL Server and MySQL.
- Familiarity with the .NET Core framework.
- Strong proficiency in C# and LabVIEW.
- Good working knowledge of English.
- At least senior-level experience with LabVIEW.
Nice to Have
Experience in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:
- Firmware development
- MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
