We are looking for a Senior Expert in the field of Enterprise Information Lifecycle Management (EILM).

Project start: asap
project duration: 3 Monate
Location: Vienna
onsite/Remote: 60% or more onsite in Vienna and Laachen, 40% remote
Fulltime


Required Experience

10+ years of experience in:
  1. enterprise archiving / application retirement
  2. data retention and records management
Proven track record in end-to-end initiatives, including:
  1. legacy system decommissioning
  2. enterprise archiving platform implementations
Strong understanding of:
  1. information lifecycle management concepts
  2. structured and unstructured data domains
Experience in regulated industries (ideally pharma / GxP) is highly desirable




Key Responsibilities
Lead the definition of an enterprise information lifecycle model (create ? use ? retain ? delete)
Define a target operating model, including governance, roles, and ownership across IT, business, and compliance
Clarify the boundary between content management and archiving
Design high-level architecture principles for:
application retirement and system archiving
document and file archiving
structured and unstructured data handling
Provide pragmatic guidance based on real-world experience
Challenge assumptions and ensure focus on simplicity and scalability
Support preparation for a subsequent RFP phase (requirements, evaluation approach)



Technical & Domain Expertise
Familiarity with platforms such as:
SAP archiving
OpenText, Solix, or comparable enterprise archiving solutions
Understanding of:
content management systems (e.g. SharePoint, DMS)
data retention policies, legal hold, audit requirements
