The Project focuses on the Development of a platform to enable aligned and efficient end-to-end model and data analysis workflows in combination with data lakes for faster development processes.Our approach allows our colleagues to use a straightforward approach which brings models from business experts to lab users in user friendly web applications.
NCE CloudLab enables the “predict and confirm” paradigm which aims at significantly faster development times with higher product quality. This framework allows to combine machine learning (ML) with ab-initio calculation workflows on the high-performance compute cluster (HPC) and enables access to lab and ab-initio data pipelines.
Tasks:
From the beginning phase (2-4 Months) the development model is based on a classic approach that follows a detailed planning until it has reached the first stable functionality of the framework. As reached, the team will switch to an agile method based on 4 weeks sprint.
Technical Writing custom code to fix bugs in existing applications or adding features to new applications as needed.
Communicating with other members of the development team about progress, issues, or changes that need to be made.
Reviewing code written by other developers for possible bugs or security issues.
Performing quality assurance testing on applications during development and after release to ensure they work as intended
Creating new applications from scratch based on design specifications provided by clients and based on own Technical expertise.
Analyzing data to identify trends or patterns that could indicate problems with the software or identify opportunities for improvement
Recommending improvements to existing processes and procedures to streamline workflow and increase efficiency
Consulting the designers to create user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use.

Must-Have: At least five years of experience, APIs with Python (FastAPI), DevOps and CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, Openshift, AWS, Terraform), Essential RDBMS developer skills with Postgres
Requirements:
At least five years of experience in the IT industry as a developer or programmer
APIs with Python (FastAPI), DevOps and CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, Openshift, AWS, Terraform) are required skills (5+ years of experience)
Essential RDBMS developer skills with Postgres
Experience with Streamlit and NextFlow is not mandatory but is a plus
Strong English communication skills required to talk to the customers about the requirements
Analytic mindset
Working on CET / CEST time zone
Delivery mentality and understanding of / focus on end-user requirements.
Proof that they are able to work in complex technology stacks
