For a project we are looking for 2:Professional Python developer (m/f/d) with Postgres DB, StreamLit, DASH, SQL Alchemy, FAST API ID
Project duration: 01.04.2024 – 30.09.2024
Project volume: 1071 hrs remote (per Developer)
Project location: Remote, Essen
As is situation: On a weekly basis green certificates are ordered on behalf of our customerto back the power portfolio. An Excel tool is used to combine current power portfolio, current certificate portfolio, price data and premia to calculate and execute the sales certificate deals. Different sources are called with different methods, one of which is manual copy/paste. The manual effort and inconsistent data quality has required multiple corrections of tens of GWh the past year.
Once a month our customer determines the remaining necessary certificates for the previous month based on their actuals data. Deal are done manually via quotes provided in Pratos. For Powerhouse weekly quotes are provided in Pratos, which they deal manually on request of their end-customers.
To be situation: The backing power portfolio with green certificates is automatically executed based on data readily available in EMDP, ensuring data quality and consistency. Our customers Certificate deals will be created and stored in the new tool, making is easy to determine the portfolio. will still receive dealable quotes and manual dealing of certificate orders will also be supported. The certificate deals are exported from the new system to the relevant Portfolio Management application.
The monthly correction based on allocations is supported by allowing the upload of allocation data and automatically have the required certificate deals generated. Reporting options will greatly be improved by making the data available in Snowflake.
