Summary:

As a member of our global team for enterprise data, you will work on challenging projects from all areas of industry. By combining strategic and business insights with advanced probabilistic solutions, domain know-how, and novel modeling techniques, you develop methodologies and tools for reliability-based decision-making that improve the sustainability and reliability of products, solutions, and services for our customers.



How You’ll Make an Impact



You will be responsible for:

Developing new methodologies and tools for reliability-based decision-making along the value chain.
Working in cross-organizational, multi-disciplinary teams supporting application and implementation of probabilistic modelling, machine learning, optimization.
Driving the roll-out of probabilistic modelling across the company through knowledge sharing, mentoring, supporting technical trainings.
Staying up to date on latest developments in advanced statistics and data science as well as the respective domains like physics-based modelling to help the business make truly data-driven decisions.
Collaborating in a partner ecosystem across industry and academia to drive research and leverage know-how in this field.
Documenting the developed methods and processes and present results to stakeholders across the organization on a regular basis.


What You Bring (Skills, Capabilities)



You will:

Have University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field
Excellent analytical skills and profound expertise in statistical modeling (e.g., uncertainty quantification, error analysis, maximum likelihood estimation, random fields)
Very good programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, R) and a good understanding of numerical simulation and optimization methods
Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, open-minded and willing to learn
Ability to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary, multinational, global teams
Fluent in written and spoken English, excellent communication and presentation skills
Enthusiastic about data and analytics and driving the use of data across all parts of a business and ecosystem
