NAV 2009 R2 Classic Native .fdb Database Login Reset / Recovery

Subject: NAV 2009 R2 Classic native — Database Login User ID lost / lockout

Hi,

I use Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 Classic (C/SIDE), native database (not SQL Server).
By mistake I created a Database Login:
Tools ? Security ? Database Logins
Before that, there was no login (security off). Now Classic asks for User ID and password. I cannot log in.

The User ID I typed was a long name like nk-notebook... (more than 20 characters).
The User ID field is Code20, so that name cannot be entered at the Login window.
SUPER, ADMIN and empty user/password do not work.
No other Classic session is open.
I have a copy of the .fdb and a separate backup from May 2026.

Can you reset, delete or recover the Database Login on a copy of the native .fdb?
Please confirm that you work with native NAV 2009, not only SQL or Business Central.
