Job title: Management Accountant
Location: Bristol/Hybrid

The role:
Reporting to Head of Finance, this role will support the transition of finance into the new finance operating model, supporting core period activities to ensure integrity of the financial processes remain intact.
Responsibilities:
Completion of month end activities to support the period close.
Investigation and analysis of variances against budget, identifying remediation action with business owners.
Design and implementation of reporting requirements to support business decisions.
Conduit into Group functions, providing business partnering support to budget holders.
Learn and understand processes within the business and where required implement process efficiencies.
Take specific ownership of certain key controls within the business, ensuring compliance during operation.
Work with operational teams and assist with queries.
Support the Head of Finance in the finance transition, providing cover for activities during transition window.
Requirements:
Good communication
Advanced excel.
Comfortable learning new systems and processes
Proactive approach/self-starter
ACCA/CIMA
