Für unseren Kunden aus der Lebensmittelbranche suchen wir derzeit einen Interim IT-Director (m/w/d). Der Kunde hat europaweit verschiedene Navision / Dynamics Systeme im Einsatz, welche im nächsten Jahr auf die selbe Version harmonisiert werden sollen.

Background:
We are looking for a professional IT Director to Innovate, design, influence and execute technology strategies based on the Global IT direction that support the European business strategies and create linkages and efficiencies to improve business results. The IT Director will report directly to the AVP -Global IT & Infrastructure, located in USA, Chicago HQs and supports him in defining specific strategies globally, develop appropriate ways to introduce the aligned strategies in Europe and support the implementation process in a matrixed organization, working closely with CISO in US. The IT Director is responsible for two teams, PMO (2 employees) and Business Applications (11 employees) as well as for the licensing coordinator position. The team members are very international and speak English at the internal meetings.

Tasks:
• Innovate, design, influence and execute technology strategies based on the Global IT direction that support the European business strategies and create linkages and efficiencies to improve business results. Supports the Global CIO in defining specific strategies globally, develop appropriate ways to introduce the aligned strategies in Europe and support the implementation process in a matrixed organization, working closely with the Global CISO and Infrastructure leadership.
• Establish relationships with key business resources within the European business as the local leader of IT. Be willing to “go and see” any of our European sites to build those relationships.
• Evaluate the organization’s long-term information technology needs and work with the Global IT management team to:
• Develop an organization-wide information technology strategy for Europe aligned with the Global IT strategy, the European organization's vision, and current and long-term business objectives.
• Jointly manage an European IT strategic roadmap and resource plan for delivery.
• Implement or support implementation of the European IT strategy by:
• Oversee Application Development and the PMO.
• Deliver IT application solutions that create value and return on investment
• Coordinate with the global security and infrastructure teams
• Motivates members of the European IT team to deliver on commitments and holds the team accountable in meeting their target objectives
• Support the Global CISO, in the delivery and implementation of appropriate security controls as defined in the approved global cybersecurity strategy and ensure that appropriate IT security systems and processes remain in place to protect the privacy and integrity of the organization’s information and related intellectual property.
• Assess current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) needs and develop the appropriate plan to execute system enhancements that will provide efficient, reliable technology operations throughout Europe.
• Develop a strategic path to standardize IT processes and systems within the group to allow improvements in maintenance, set up and integration costs and to achieve synergies wherever possible.
• Build a European IT organization and team, based on a Shared Service approach that can deliver at the local, division, and European leadership levels. In addition, influence and implement the change of process and design.

• Control and recommend annual and long-term IT budgets with a clear reference to the following strategic targets:
• Applications and PMO
• Infrastructure collaborating with the Global Infrastructure Director
• Security collaborating with the Global CISO
• Ensure IT system operations adhere to applicable laws and regulations
• Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including emerging technologies and practices, especially related to manufacturing operations, data and business process security, as well as data and information management domains

Skills:
• Degree in MIS or Business Administration, further qualification preferable
• Several years of progressive information systems experience, including experience as a senior IT executive in a mid-sized or enterprise manufacturing organization with Multi Country operations
• Significant experience overseeing successful ERP implementations along with knowledge of how to do so successfully.
