Masentó D&A are working with a prestigious client who are recruiting for a Senior Google Cloud Data Architect to join the team.
This is a contract role for a minimum of 3 months but it's very likely to extend to 6 months. Due to the project deliverables, ideally you will be able to start by the 12th June 2023.
Key Skills/Experience required-
- Data Architect with prior experience in classic Data Warehousing (eg Teradata) and ETL/ELT using SQL/Python/Spark.
- Transitioned to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and working purely on GCP/BigQuery stack for the past 3+ years.
- Experience in data build tool (dbt) or similar technology for complex SQL-based data transformations.
- Experience in building ETL/ELT using GCP services like Cloud Composer/Airflow, Cloud Run, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions.
- Designing and building Data Quality Frameworks.
- Performance tuning and cost optimization of GCP cloud services.
Travel: Remote, with 25-50% travel for the first month. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
