Job Title: Freelance Application Developer - BMSI have an urgent freelance project opportunity with one of my clients in the Automotive/E-Mobility sector, please see all details below.
Overview: One of my industry leading E-Mobility clients in Austria are looking for a Freelance Application Developer proficient in Matlab/Simulink to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing applications tailored for e-mobility and stationary applications, with the main focus being on BMS. This is a hybrid position, with some business travel required to Austria.
Your Tasks:
1. Develop applications in Matlab/Simulink for both e-mobility and stationary applications, adhering to project requirements and specifications.
2. Generate comprehensive test cases, prepare test reports, and conduct error analyses to ensure the quality and reliability of developed applications.
3. Create technical documentation and contribute to feasibility analyses to support project planning and decision-making processes.
4. Assist in conducting risk analyses for functional safety and cybersecurity, focusing on software requirements and implementation.
5. Participate in requirements engineering activities and provide support to our specialist departments to align software development with business objectives.
Your Profile:
1. Completion of a technical education program (HTL/FH/Uni) with a focus on software engineering, computer science, automation technology, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience in application development, with a strong background in signal and data processing.
3. Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink is essential, with knowledge of C/C++ being desirable for certain tasks.
4. Excellent command of English is required, while German language skills are advantageous.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
