Freelance SAP ERP Service Management & Stabilization Consultant (m/f/d)
About the Project
A leading pharmaceutical company has implemented a new global SAP S/4HANA system and successfully rolled it out across all European countries and the Americas. The deployment phase is currently underway at additional sites. To support the stabilization and optimization of this global ERP service landscape, we are looking for an experienced external consultant.
You will work closely with the Global ERP Service Manager, AMS providers, business stakeholders, and internal IT teams to implement defined service stabilization measures and establish sustainable service management practices.
Project Details
- Project start: 09.11.2026
- Project duration: 6 months (until 31.05.2027)
- Location: Remote
- Workload: 4–5 days per week
Your Responsibilities
- Coordination of defined activities related to global ERP service and service delivery within the stabilization project
- Analysis of service performance KPIs, creation of project-specific performance reports and management dashboards
- Evaluation of SLA compliance, incident reviews, and root cause analyses
- Preparation and moderation of service review meetings with internal stakeholders and AMS partners
- Coordination of global ERP-related changes, governance assessments, and stakeholder communication
- Development of recommendations to improve service stability and reduce recurring incidents
Your Profile
- Several years of professional experience in IT Service Management, ideally in SAP or ERP environments
- In-depth understanding of ITIL processes and proven ServiceNow experience
- Proven track record in managing external service providers and AMS organizations
- Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Fluent English, spoken and written; experience in global, multicultural environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, independence, and the ability to work on several priorities in parallel
