ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for Accounts Payables accounting activities - accruals, reconciliations, close, metrics
- Responsible for GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) accounting
- Responsible for Accounts Receivables accounting activities - Progress Billing/ Progress Collections, revaluation
- Support Balance Sheet reviews
- Monitor and record business specific accruals
- Support compliance audits
- Prepare Manual Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations
- Administration of Account Reconciliation Tool
- Support broader Controllership team as needed (i.e., account recs, quarter close activities, reviews etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in Finance/Controllership (ideally at least 4 years)
- Strong knowledge of accounting, measurements & reporting systems
- Ability to independently work through complex accounting scenarios and effectively communicate with different levels of leadership
- Good knowledge of both written and spoken German and English
- Adaptable/ flexible; open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ambiguous situations; display initiative
Desired
- CPA or equivalent qualification
- International experience
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial System
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Government Accounting Practices
- Desired experience with Tableau or SQL
