Role Summary/Purpose:
Develop and validate cutting edge, highly integrated, emissions control solutions for our entire range of fuels and applications to support our development of world class environmental and climate protection
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and serialize integrated emission control technologies for our reciprocating engines working closely with: controls, performance, design, mechanical and systems engineers
- Plan and execute experiments on components, sub-systems, and complete engines in a laboratory environment or on engines in the field
- Perform independent required engineering calculations or organize calculation + simulation support in an effective manner
- Document complex data and conclusions in technical reports and present findings in technical reviews
- Collaborate internationally with technology and commercial partners inside/outside customer
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Dipl.-Ing. / MEng / Master (or equivalent) in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar specialization
- Good Experience with engines and after treatment
- Good Experience with Distinct analytical working method and able to independently develop solutions
- Experience with state of the art emissions measurement technologies
- Understanding of related controls requirements
- Specific focus for this role: Simulation / analytics skills (1D and/or 3D CFD, data analysis, VBA / script writing)
- Specific focus for this role: Chemistry understanding or education
- Specific focus for this role: recip engines / aftertreatment background highly valuable
- Willingness to travel
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Business fluent in German & English language
- You are comfortable working in an international environment and have convincing oral and written communication skills in English
- Basic Skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- You work for our customer, together in the team, on site - in the Kufstein area (Austria)
