For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a highly qualified EH&S Supplier and Master Data Specialist (m/f/d).

The Compliance Operations department is responsible for the data and process baseline along the entire chemical-legally compliant and sustainable product lifecycle (e.g. development, transport/handling, marketing and disposal) of all Roche Diagnostics products. This means that we are not only irreplaceable in ensuring compliance for the benefit of our patients, but also pursue the goal of significantly and sustainably reducing the environmental impact of all our products and services. As EH&S Supplier and Master Data Specialist, you are a valuable member of the team and you are encouraged to add a great contribution. Your tasks will be related to Supplier Management for EH&S Data, EH&S Master Data Management, and/or supporting projects managed by our Team.

Additionally she/he has good communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex organizational or technical issues. Also we are looking for someone who can recognize the contributions of teammates and peers.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Providing Quality oversight for Roche Diagnostics Direct Material Suppliers for the Roche Instruments (existing and in Development). Responsibility includes managing Supplier EH&S Data Questionnaires for Chemical Legislation such as REACH, RoHS, POP, TSCA, California Proposition 65
* Interacting directly with suppliers, internal customers, and subject matter experts to ensure thorough evaluation and accuracy of EH&S Data following company standard using appropriate IT tools (e.g. SAP Production Systems, EH&S(M))
* Ensuring data governance, quality and integrity (according to the data strategy); as well as performing plausibility checks (e.g. against relevant chemical regulatory legislation)
* Continuous development of the EH&S IT Solution
* Support the Compliance Operations Team in continuous improvement projects, such as continuous development and automation of the EH&S data management solution for articles and system architecture
Must Haves:
* Completed studies in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Science or in a comparable field
* Preferably at least 1 year experience in the medtech, pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Preferably at least 1 year experience working with Suppliers in a highly regulated environment (e.g. Chemical Legislation, cGMP, GLP; GCP, IVDR, EU MDR)
* Preferably at least 1 year experience working with (Master) Data
* Preferably you have very good knowledge of (global) chemical regulatory legislation (e.g.REACH, GHS/CLP, dangerous goods, RoHS, WEEE, California Proposition 65)
* You have an affinity for handling large amounts of data and a preference for data science for Supplier Governance and Oversight
* Highly competent in MS office or Google Suite applications
* Relevant experience working with applicable processes or IT systems (e.g. SAP EH&S) in IVD
or other highly regulated industry is a plus
* Fluent in English, German and any other language is a plus
* You enjoy interacting with others and sharing information
* Ability to work with colleagues across procurement, business, and the broader Roche organization to broaden knowledge and expertise, better understand customer needs, and connect the dots
* You inspire others to do their best work by offering support and encouragement
* Agility and growth mindset in approach to work
Nice to Have:
* Experience in Master Data Management, Supplier Management, Procurement/ third party management systems and operational processes such as contracting, and (e)Sourcing is a plus
