For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Business Application Manager (m/f/d).
Background:
This will be a 6-month position, which will support clinical trial planning and management related applications, within the Clinical e-Solutions group.
The perfect candidate: A perfect candidate would have worked in managing technology applications in an agile environment, and would have excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between the users/stakeholders of the application and IT organization. He/she should be able to understand and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technology related changes in conversations with the IT team.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide implementation and operational management support for the software application
- Works under the guidance of Business Application Manager/ Business Application Lead to accomplish his/her responsibilities related to the assigned application(s)
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve business application capability and processes supported by the application
- Clearly and effectively communicate application modifications, changed processes and problem-solving results to affected groups and leadership
- Provides support in investigation of reported incidents that involve applications' abnormalities, failures or defects
- Supports the implementation of technical and/or procedural improvements to ensure effective use of application
- Promptly respond to urgent technical issues regarding system failures and escalate as necessary
- Assist in development of training content, guides and associated documentation, that helps onboard the users on the assist application(s)
- Participates in cross-functional groups focused on improving/maintaining high data quality in the assigned application(s)
Must Haves:
- Minimum Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience in the clinical trial field
- At Least 5 years of business/ system analysis/ analytical experience
- Comprehensive experience analyzing and solving business situations
- Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
- Excellent organizational, communication, and demonstrated expert data management skills including working knowledge of cross-functional areas
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodology
- English fluent
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Diagnostics and/or Pharmaceutical Information Systems
- Relevant clinical trial related technology experience
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical development process
