Business Analyst – Austria Based
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
A client of Amass Technology are on the search for an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking/financial services experience, a solid background in requirements engineering and agile delivery, and an interest in applying AI to modern SDLC practices.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, Product Analysis, or a similar role.
- Proven experience within banking or financial services is essential.
- Elicit, analyse, document, prioritise, validate, and maintain clear, traceable requirements.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process descriptions, and testable requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders in agile environments.
- Strong understanding of data management, APIs, service-oriented architectures, and modern IT delivery.
- Experience with Customer Master Data, Customer Onboarding, Customer Lifecycle Management, or similar customer-domain processes is desirable.
- Use AI tools to support requirements analysis, backlog refinement, acceptance criteria, test preparation, impact analysis, documentation, and knowledge management.
- Develop effective prompts and reusable AI approaches to improve the quality and efficiency of Business Analysis activities.
- Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, identifying hallucinations, gaps, inaccuracies, and missing business context, and validate outputs with relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrate awareness of responsible AI, data privacy, and information security principles.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, BPMN/process modelling tools, API documentation platforms, and AI-assisted analysis tools is advantageous.
This opportunity will be require 2-3 days per week on-site in Vienna. English speaking is only required.
