Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Batch Operation Engineer (L3) to support highly critical production environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in batch operations, job scheduling, production support, incident management, and UC4 scheduling while ensuring high system availability, timely issue resolution, and SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide L3 support for critical production environments.
  2. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve batch job failures and production incidents.
  3. Ensure timely resolution of incidents, problems, and change requests.
  4. Perform job scheduling, restoration, restart, and rescheduling as per SOPs.
  5. Analyze production trends and provide operational reports.
  6. Collaborate with application teams for batch scheduling and issue resolution.
  7. Participate in on-call support and 24x7 production support activities.
  8. Recommend process improvements and infrastructure enhancements.
  9. Maintain operational documentation and incident records.
Required Skills:
  1. Strong experience in Batch Operations and Production Support.
  2. Hands-on experience with UC4 (Automic) Job Scheduler.
  3. Experience monitoring Batch Job Status, Duration, Alerts, and Transactions.
  4. Expertise in handling Batch ABENDS (job failures) and troubleshooting.
  5. Experience with Job Restore, Restart, and Rescheduling activities.
  6. Knowledge of Batch Transaction Reporting and Trend Analysis.
  7. Experience maintaining Job Calendars and Scheduling activities.
  8. Strong incident, problem, and change management skills.
  9. Ability to work in a 24x7 production support environment.
  10. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
