Good evening for my client in automotive industry, I am looking for automation engineers.
- Project - Automation Engineer (Siemens TIA Portal) | Automotive Industry | Berlin
Project Overview-1-2 People
Join a major automotive manufacturing project focused on the development, optimization, and commissioning of automated production systems. The role involves working within a standardized powertrain environment, supporting the implementation and enhancement of PLC-controlled manufacturing processes at a leading automotive client.
Project 1:
- Start: asap
- Duration: initial contract till the end of year (chance of extension afterwards)
- Type of employment: Freelance
- Capacity: Full-time
- Location: Primarily on-site assignment in Berlin
- Project languages: English (Fluent) German (B2)
Profile:
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens TIA Portal
- Experience in TIA Portal Powertrain Standard
- Proven background in PLC programming and commissioning
Tasks:
- PLC programming and software development using Siemens TIA Portal
- Commissioning and optimization of automation systems
- Implementation of customer-specific automation standards
- Troubleshooting and support during production ramp-up
- Project- Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation Engineer | International Automotive-Graz/USA
Project Overview- 3 people-1x Supervisor/Programmer (German speaker) and 2x Programmer (English speakers)
Support an international automation project in the automotive industry, covering machine commissioning, production ramp-up, and system optimization. The assignment starts with an intensive on-site phase at the client's in Graz and continues with long-term deployment in the USA, working closely with global engineering and production teams. Visa sponsorship/support will be provided by the client.
Project 2:
- Start: November 2026
- Duration: initial contract till the end of year 2027
- Type of employment: Freelance
- Capacity: Full-time
- Location: On-site presence at the client's location in Graz is required until approximately March/April 2027, followed by a long-term assignment in the USA for the rest of the project.
- Project languages: English (Fluent) German (needed only for supervising position)
Profile:
- Strong experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
- Proven commissioning experience in industrial automation projects
- Ability to work independently on-site and internationally
- Willingness to travel extensively
Tasks:
- PLC programming and commissioning using Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
- Modification and optimization of control systems
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
