Requirements Engineering & Management
Expertise in requirements management and traceability using tools such as Polarion, Yogi Requirements, and Confluence. Decomposition of system requirements into software requirements with full bidirectional traceability, aligned with INCOSE practices and ISO 26262 / ASPICE standards.
System & Software Architecture (MBSE/MBD)
Strong background in system and software architecture following the MBSE approach, using System Composer and PlantUML to model architecture and behaviour. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for model-based design and production code generation via Simulink Embedded Coder.
Embedded & Real-Time Control Systems
Hands-on experience in embedded and real-time control software development, including HW-SW interface definition, including HW-SW interface definition, ECU firmware builds via CI/CD, and integration testing. Proficient with automotive communication standards CAN, LIN, SPI, and RSL, as well as calibration and diagnostics tools such as Vector tools, INCA, and ETAS ASCMO.
Functional Safety (ISO 26262) & Cybersecurity (ISO 21434)
Knowledge of functional safety lifecycle and its integration into the V-model, including FuSa and cybersecurity requirements as constraints on system architecture and requirements decomposition. Hands-on ISO 26262 work at an EV startup (Arrival).
Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
Application of the Automotive SPICE process model for system and software engineering (SYS.2, SYS.3, SWE.1), ensuring consistency and traceability between work products.
HiL/MiL/XiL Testing & Verification
Experience in system and integration testing across HiL, MiL, and XiL environments, including on-vehicle and HiL debugging, testing, and calibration using Vector tools and Simulink Test.
Data Analysis & Calibration/Diagnostics
Performed data analysis, calibration, and diagnostics using MATLAB, Racelogic VBOX, CAN telemetry, AVL Indicom, INCA, and ETAS ASCMO on real propulsion hardware and test-bed environments.
Propulsion & Vehicle Dynamics
Developed and tested control software for cruise control, hydraulic retarder, AT shifting, and DCT using MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and Fuzzy Logic. Evaluated race vehicle performance and performed root-cause analysis of engine and vehicle behaviour from track and race data.
CAD & Mechanical Design
Designed engine and vehicle components and engineering drawings using Siemens NX. Optimized turbocharging systems and defined camshaft profile requirements from test-bed gas-exchange analysis.
Agile & Configuration Management
Managed SW bundle releases and planning using Jira, and managed project artifacts under configuration control with Perforce. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Projekthistorie
Defined system architecture and system- and software-level requirements for control features (rain-light-solar sensing, elevator group operation), owning the left branch of the V-model. Followed the Automotive SPICE process model (SYS.2, SYS.3, SWE.1), applied MBSE approach with PlantUML, decomposed system requirements with full bidirectional traceability in Yogi Requirements/Confluence, specified HW-SW interface and integration/verification scope, and interacted with stakeholders to align requirements and architecture decisions.
Functional safety training (ISO 26262) delivered by a FuSa & CySe expert and ISO delegate, covering the safety lifecycle and its integration into the V-model. Deepened understanding of FuSa and cybersecurity (ISO 21434) requirements as constraints on system architecture and requirements decomposition.
Owned development of vehicle E/E application control software (Low-Voltage & Body) in compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434 using FDD and agile methodology. Defined software architecture in System Composer, formed software requirements with end-to-end traceability (Polarion, Simulink Requirements), participated in system crew allocating feature requirements across HW/BSW/ASW levels, designed and tested SW components (MATLAB/Simulink, Simulink Test), generated production code (Simulink Embedded Coder), built ECU firmware via CI/CD (Jenkins), performed on-vehicle and HiL debugging and calibration (Vector tools, CAN/LIN), and managed SW bundle releases (Jira, Confluence, Perforce).
