Projekthistorie
Platform engineering on Azure for one of Germany's largest retail groups, running containerised workloads on AKS with GitOps-based delivery. Responsibilities include operating and evolving the AKS platform, managing GitOps delivery via GitHub Actions, Kuberpult and Argo CD, provisioning Azure infrastructure with Terraform, and setting up Datadog monitoring, dashboards and alerting.
Reinsurance client with a heavily hard-coded ARM setup. Restructured ARM template estate into a modular ARM + PowerShell codebase, introduced Recovery Services Vault and Backup Vault, initiated migration from ARM to Terraform, and migrated classic Release Pipelines to YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps.
High-traffic online gambling platform. Built and ran application infrastructure with Windows VMs, IIS, F5 load balancers and AD DNS. Developed PowerShell modules for build, deployment and monitoring pipelines. Maintained Elastic Stack and built Kibana dashboards. Configured Cloudflare for traffic management, security and DDoS protection; integrated SCOM, AppDynamics, Kibana and Catchpoint into one monitoring approach.
