Senior .NET engineer with 20+ years of hands-on delivery — 14 at Microsoft, the last 7 building a national-scale registry platform for the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) via BIT.
I'm a coder first. I write the C#, design the data model, ship the features, fix the production issue. Two decades in means I also handle architecture and technical decisions when a project needs it, but I do that while delivering, not from a slide deck. Designing and developing a national register software application for the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health.
Responsibilities: architecture, design, implementation, and unit testing of front-end components in Angular / TypeScript and back-end services in C# / ASP.NET Core / EF Core, against a PostgreSQL database. Migration of platform components from legacy on-prem (Cloud Foundry) to Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault). Mentoring junior team members in.

- 2014 — Built dynamic filtering for search queries against the in-house search engine, plus an Azure-based internal test framework for those queries, supporting the new Office Online store. C#.
- 2013 — Implemented an Azure-hosted API wrapper for Windows Search engine (C#), preceded by a wrapper for Lucene (C#) and a TypeScript-based migration of telemetry/usability data collection onto Microsoft Cosmos.
